Abstract

In this era of digitization, data security is an inherent requirement over public internet. Due to advancement of Artificial Intelligence based attacks, data secuirty has become a challenge. For this purpose, substitution boxes (S-Box) with ciphers are used. Most of the existing S-Boxes use block ciphers that are currently created through chaotic maps. This article presents a dynamic novel technique of creating block ciphers that use innovative chaotic map approach to provide data security and integrity. This approach is initially designed and then tested against recently projected S-Box in fields of Nonlinearity (NL), Bijectiveness, Bit Independence Criterion (BIC), Strict Avalanche Criterion (SAC), Differential Approximation Probability (DP), and Linear Approximation Probability (LP). Time complexity analysis is also performed to evaluate the computational overhead of the proposed S-Box. The results of these Standard Evaluation Criteria signifies this approach to be particularly robust in the act of protection against attempts to cryptanalyze and proves its forte in data encryption and security.
