In the coming weeks and months we’ll be updating the coaches corner with news and tips from JC’s High School Baseball coaching staff. Additionally, we just started a series of Catching tips, entitled Catching 101 from Coach Schriemann. We’ll post try to post a fresh video tip every couple of weeks, so keep checking back.

Catching 101: Comfort Position

And… I just had a meeting with the 12u and 13u teams representatives and gave them a quick tour of the website. They’ll soon start posting their team information and updates here as well. I love it when a plan comes together.

Coaches meeting

JCBI’s coaching staff made their annual pilgrimage to BC Baseball’s HQ last week to go over the rules for the 2009 season. That means baseball season is just around the corner, with some of our teams kicking off the season March 27th – barely two weeks away. It’s about time to put up the basketball and dig out the ole glove and bat.
