Varsity now at 5 – 2 on the season;

The Varsity team has gotten off to a pretty good start this year. After an season opening loss to Marquette, we rolled off four straight wins, with a big win coming against Lutheran South, which was a 3A state playoff team. This past weekend we played Hickman, and lost 3 – 1 and then turned around and beat Moberly 5 – 0 on a combined one hitter between two pitchers. It has been a couple of years since the Varsity has had a winning record this early in the summer season, and hopefully this is a sign of things to come.
